Inspiration for this pattern came from the Lacy Mock Cable Cloth found HERE. I am making up a lot of cloths for Mother's day, birthdays and such. My mom though won't use wash or dish cloths this heavy. But these patterns are so pretty that I decided that hanging towels would make a great substitution for a wash cloth. And by making up the towel with the matching cloth you have a really nice gift to give. I won't take credit for any of these towels as I only took an existing cloth and tweaked it to make a towel. (Unless I make one up from scratch that is.) But credit will be given the original creator (in cases where I know who the designer is) and a link provided to the matching cloth.
